The National Fish and Chip Awards has named the top 20 finalists for its Takeaway of the Year category. Announced after hundreds of applications, fish and chip shops from across the country have been shortlisted from the Top 40, to the final Top 20.
The Takeaway of the Year category is sponsored by Pukka Pies, McWhinneys, Smales, VA Whitley, Friars Pride, Henry Colbecks and B D Signs.

The National Fish & Chip Awards are hosted by The National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF), on the 28th of February 2023 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. Seafood from Norway are the overall sponsor of the awards

For more than 30 years, the awards have celebrated the nation’s favourite dish, while championing the eclectic eateries that hold up this loved British tradition.
