By Austen Dack
I am pleased to say there have been many instances of people working together during this time of uncertainty! Hopefully when we get through this awful situation, this ‘team spirit’ will remain.
Currently, many of us await the latest news bulletins with dread and how each new development will affect the lives of our families. Four Weymouth businesses have joined forces to bring a degree of normality and continue the availability of those occasional treat meals we all enjoy during these troubling times.
Weyline Taxis, Bee Cars, Shalims Indian Restaurant and Fish ’n’ Fritz are launching a takeaway delivery service to Weymouth.
Ian Ferguson from Weyline tells us where the idea came from “The Coronavirus situation is rapidly changing and the way we do things for the foreseeable future will be different. I reached out to some of my business friends in the restaurant trade, to see how my businesses could help them and this new delivery service came out of those discussions. This scheme helps local businesses keep money flowing locally rather than going straight out of Weymouth to some corporate head office elsewhere. If we all work together and support each other, we can get through the difficult months ahead.”
If you fancy a curry or crave some fish and chips go online to the businesses website check out the delivery menu, give the restaurant a call, order your food and Weyline or Bee Cars will deliver it your door.
If you are a local business that wants to get involved with the group, give Ian a call on 01305 752146.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ el_class=”sticky-container”][mnky_ads id=”3659″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
