Sole Mates Find Love At Elite!…

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Two lovestruck members of staff from The Elite Fish & Chip Company have just tied the knot after their eyes met over the fryers in Lincoln.

Server Emma Richmond (45) and fryer Martin Ward (34), who both work at the Elite’s flagship branch on Tritton Road in Lincoln got hitched at The Old Hall Hotel in Buxton, Derbyshire on Saturday 20th May.

The pair fell hook, line and sinker for each other after getting together three years ago.

Emma said: “I don’t think Martin talked to me much for the first few months, but once we got to know each other we realised we had something special.”

Martin decided to pop the question while the pair were out walking on the Monsal Trail in the Derbyshire Peak District.

Emma explained: “We stopped for a quick picnic and as we were starting to eat, I turned around and he was on one knee! It was a shock but of course I said yes!”

Donna Tweedale, Owner of The Elite Fish & Chip Company, said: “We’re so pleased for Emma and Martin. They’ve both been with us a long time now and to see romance blossom here is lovely. We all want to congratulate them and wish them all the best for the future!”

The newlyweds have taken a short break from work and are hoping to honeymoon in Scotland in August.
