Middleton Foods Supports National Fish & Chip Day 2026!

Middleton Foods is proud to once again be one of National Fish & Chip Day’s headline sponsors! Taking place this year on Friday 5th June, the annual event presents an excellent opportunity for chippies large and small, across the nation to come together, promote their businesses and sell fish and chips to the masses.

Now entering its second decade, National Fish & Chip Day has become a key moment in the industry calendar. Its purpose is simple but important: to shine a national spotlight on fish and chips, encourage collective celebration and remind customers, communities and the wider food sector of the enduring place this dish holds in British life.

Ryan Baker, Sales Manager, Middleton Foods comments:

“We’re so excited to be supporting NEODA with National Fish & Chip Day once again. It’s always a fantastic day championing an incredible industry and supporting fish and chip shop owners across the nation. Fish and chips is a national treasure, and we know from our independe ntly commissioned research* that it’s not just us who are passionate about fish and chips; consumers are too - 83% of consumers buy fish and chips. They’re iconic. They’re popular! National Fish & Chip Day celebrates one of Britain’s most loved dishes, so why not use the occasion to really showcase the best there is, from offering new species for people to try, to creating specials and limited editions for the day - we know 70% of consumers will consider purchasing limited editions and specials!”

Every year, in celebration of National Fish and Chip Day, the team at Middleton Foods come together to donate products, cook and feed their local community at the Willenhall Chart Centre, a hub local to the Middleton Foods factory which helps to improve the quality of life for people in the Willenhall area. Middleton Foods looks forward to supporting the Centre once again for National Fish and Chip Day 2026.
