Booker Winner Chicken Dinner!
Booker fires up Chicken Kitchen with crunchier coatings, bolder flavours and brand new lines
Foodservice wholesaler Booker has launched Chicken Kitchen, a one-stop proposition bringing together fresh, frozen and frozen cooked chicken with the buns, sauces, sides and packaging operators need to build a profitable chicken menu.
The range features just under 50 lines, including 27 chicken products. Booker's product development team has reworked its coated chicken range with crispier, crunchier Homestyle coatings and improved flavours. Hot & Spicy now brings serious heat, Southern Fried has been rebalanced, while new Buttermilk and Salt & Pepper flavours offer further menu choice. The coated lines can also be hot-held for 30 minutes after frying, supporting busy service and delivery operations.

New products include Chef's Menu 125g Homestyle fillets in four varieties, Katsu Breaded Chicken Fillets, Breaded Chicken Schnitzels and Homestyle Chicken Strips. For loaded fries and wraps, Salt & Pepper and Salt & Chilli Shredded Chicken bring takeaway-style flavours, with Salt & Pepper ready in just two minutes in the fryer.
The wing selection includes new Homestyle Breaded Chicken Wings, gluten-free BBQ and Hot & Spicy Glazed Chicken Wings, plus boneless options designed for sharing platters, bar food and delivery.
Complementary products include new Scotch Bonnet Hot Honey and Mango Habanero sauces, premium potato and seeded buns, Monterey Jack and Cheese Burger Slices, and sides including Super Crispy Fries, Waffle Fries and Potato Pops.
Fresh and frozen chicken cuts further expand the offer, with calibrated breast fillets helping operators maintain consistent portions and reduce waste. Takeaway packaging, hygiene essentials and Lincat kitchen equipment are also available through Booker.
With chicken continuing to outpace other proteins, Chicken Kitchen aims to help fast-food outlets, takeaways and other foodservice operators capitalise on demand with quality, choice, consistency and strong profit margins.

Nev Irani, Foodservice Managing Director at Booker, says: “Chicken presents a real opportunity for foodservice operators, and our new and improved chicken range will help them navigate the options, flavours and formats to create successful dishes and menu options to suit this dynamic market.
“We’ve gone back to the kitchen on our coated chicken to give operators a product their customers will notice, with a crunch that lasts, flavours that deliver and a 30-minute hot hold that keeps it at its best from fryer to front door. Pair that with our new sauces, buns and cheeses, and operators have everything they need to build a standout chicken menu.
“Chicken’s popularity is driven by its affordable price point, an influx of US high street chains, viral trends, delivery-friendly formats and the fact it lends itself to so many world flavours.
"The range reinforces our commitment to being a single-source partner, supplying versatile food formats alongside the accompanying buns, sides, sauces and condiments, takeaway packaging, and hygiene essentials needed to run an efficient kitchen.
“By delivering an easy-to-use range that meets market expectations of great choice, flavour, and consistent quality at competitive prices, we aim to empower foodservice operators to serve chicken confidently and grow their business sustainably.”

Booker’s Chicken Kitchen is available from 2nd November 2026 to foodservice operators nationwide. For new products, recipe inspiration, cooking videos and menu ideas, and to sign up to Booker, visit https://www.booker.co.uk/chicken-kitchen
