Multi-award winning eatery Simpsons Fish and Chips has revealed exciting plans for expansion, and is set to open a brand-new takeaway in Stroud in summer 2017.
Sure to delight its hordes of fans across the county, Cheltenham’s favourite independent chippy, Simpsons, has revealed plans to open a brand-new takeaway in Stroud’s town centre.
Simpsons Fish and Chips’ second outpost is set to open its doors this summer, marking an exciting development from the family-run business which has garnered national acclaim since opening in 2009.
Having scooped national awards for serving up the very best fish and chips in the country, Simpsons Fish and Chips is passionate about using quality ingredients and maintaining an environmentally-friendly ethos – something which is also important to its new hometown of Stroud.
Director of Simpsons, James Ritchie, said: ‘We’re very excited to announce that Simpsons will soon be expanding its reach across the county with the launch of our very first fish and chips establishment outside of Cheltenham, with a brand-new Simpsons takeaway set to open on Stroud’s Bedford Street this summer.
‘Stroud itself is a place very dear to our hearts as Jan Simpson grew up in the town, launching her first fish and chip shop in Stonehouse back in 1976, so it certainly feels like we’re heading home.
‘We can’t emphasise enough how much we’re looking forward to launching and really look forward to getting to know the fantastic local community!’
