Isle of Ely Industry Open Day – DTBA September (9.30 am start) in Ely, Cambridgeshire
Update – Field to Frier Open Day September DTBA 2018
The day will start at 09.30 am with a cup of tea and a welcome from Chippy Chat Publishing Editor Austen Dack. Please wear strong shoes/boots! Also wrap up well as it might be chilly outside and in the shed which we will be in all day.
At around 10 am the presentations will start. The day kicks off with an introduction from the NFFF.

We have arranged a visit to a major local farmer where you will be given a great insight into the journey a potato takes on its way from ‘Field to Frier’, (please bring your wellies if wet). We will also be showing people around the farm at Isle of Ely Produce which will include a visit to our potato grading line.
As well as tea/coffee we will be once again offering complimentary buffet lunch.
On the day speakers include current National Fish and Chip Award Champions Craig Maw and Nikki Mutton from Kingfisher Fish and Chips, Dino and Sid from Papa’s Fish & Chips, & Field to Frier Winners Tim and Kelly Barnes from Krispies Fish and Chips, plus we have a few PR surprises too!

Sponsors can access the farm from 7.30 am to set up any POS or stands.
In the evening we will meet at the Royal Standard Ely, at 6.30pm and have a few drinks and something to eat before the evening ends with either an overnight stay (booking recommended) or the drive home.
