The Isle of Ely Produce/Chippy Chat Open Day 2017 will this year be held on Sunday September 17th.  The day will once again start at 09.30 am with a cup of tea and a welcome from Austen Dack and John and Oliver Boutwood!

At around 10am the presentations will start. Once again we will be presenting ideas from across the fish and chip industry.  The day will be based at the farm which you will find at: Oaktree Farm, Littleport, Ely, Cambrideshire CB6 1RS
We will also arrange a visit to a major local farmer where you will be given a great insight into the journey a potato takes on its way from ‘Field to Frier’.
As well as tea/coffee we will be once again offering complimentary buffet lunch and afternoon cake too!
On the day speakers already include award winning shop Kingfisher Fish and Chips from near Plymouth and Papas Fish and Chips based in and around Hull.
Last years sponsors included:
Friars Pride
Middleton Foods
Kerry Food Service
Isle of Ely Produce
Friars Pride
Norwegian Seafood Council
Wrapped Insurance
If you would also like to sponsor the event (we only look to recoup cost of the day) please contact Austen Dack. Suppliers can attend with product/samples small stands and can even present to the chip shop owners on the day from our full AV set and stage. It is a perfect avenue for celebrations, new products and more.
In the evening we will be going out for dinner and having a few drinks.
Please email back your confirmation of attendance to: amanda@chippychat.co.uk with names and also if you are staying for the evening meal so we can give the restaurant numbers.
Last year was our biggest open day yet with over 110 attending . If you are a supplier and wish to attend/sponsor please email: austen@chippychat.co.uk
Once again we look forward to seeing you here on the day, it will be a fun occasion and one that you will find very useful.
